Presentation to White Coats for Planetary Health 2/25/21. WCPH is a medical student group at the University of Michigan Medical School with a mission to educate about the complex relationship between human health and planetary health.
MiCCA sent a welcome letter to new Michigan Representatives in February 2021, urging climate action and offering our assistance and expertise in climate and health.

Wrote a series of op-ed's for the Traverse City Record-Eagle newspaper on the lessons learned from COVID that can be applied to climate change, four of which were published. Read Articles>
Wrote an op-ed on how to vote safely: My Take: Fair and Healthy Elections.
Applied to become part of the Michigan Environmental Council (MEC). Working with them to push out the Open Letter to Candidates.
Have made a video for Health Voices for Climate Action; have 1-3 more who may be interested in making one.
Put together an op-ed template to push out to health professionals across the states that has the message: Vote for Health / Vote for Climate.
Interviewed for article on climate and health in Issues Media Group: Michigan clinicians rally to address climate change as a public health issue.
